Memphis Slims, the Blues bar that’s become legend in Adelaide, is teaming up with Ambra, one of our city’s most vibrant & renown distilleries (est 1998), is promising a Sunday session of rock’n’roll chaos and undeniable fun.

With live music pumping five nights a week, it’s the ultimate spot for anyone craving a taste of that authentic, soulful sound. And let’s not forget about Dusty Lee’s Blues Jam on Thursdays – it’s like stepping into a whole new dimension of musical mayhem.
What can you expect to take the stage? A little bit of everything, from folk and roots, soul and jazz, and of course blues and rock to close out the evening.
But Memphis Slims isn’t content with just staying put. They’re notorious for shaking things up, taking their show on the road and turning venues upside down. Pirate Life was their latest conquest, and now it’s Ambra’s turn to get a taste of the fun.
Leading the charge is none other than Dusty Lee himself, the guitar-wielding maestro behind Wanderers and the electrifying force that powered the Fringe hit, 27 Club. And now, Dusty’s ready to bring the heat to Ambra’s doorstep.
Taking over the bar are the revered crew from Memphis Slims—Alex Johnston and Josh Mack—who have curated a special cocktail menu crafted with Ambra’s distinct spirits. Expect innovative drinks that promise to be as refreshing as they are unique, perfect for sipping while you soak in the tunes and the sun.
Chef Miles Davis (not the musician) will be at the helm of the outdoor BBQ, serving up a feast that perfectly complements the crafted cocktails. From smoky meats to gourmet bites, the flavours are as bold and intriguing as the musical notes filling the air.
